I recently graduated from Saint Catherine University with a Political Science and Public Policy degree and a double minor in Critical Race Studies and Economics. I am passionate about the economics of Social issues and the implementation of policies that increase the quality of life for BIPOC people. As a  Muslim woman, I deeply value civic dialogue and advocacy because I know our future leaders must look like those they serve to promote equitable change. A fun fact about me is that I have seven siblings, six girls, and one boy!

"This song holds a special place in my heart as an older sibling watching my siblings move on to different parts of their lives. I also just love Mama-Mia its a cinematic masterpiece"

Miss Independent by Ne-Yo

I have a ritual where I listen to it every morning before working or going to an event. This song always makes me feel like a girl boss who is ready to dominate the world.

Charm by Rema

"Afrobeats are so fun and always lift my mood. I like how its chill but also upbeat, its a great song to dance and my song of the summer. It also helps me learn a little bit Nigerian pidgin"
